‘Supernatural’ season 8 finale spoilers: Misha Collins, Metatron, and a bus stop
Sometimes, you just have to find enjoyment in the strangest of places. Since we don’t know a whole lot about the “Supernatural” season 8 finale, sometimes you have to just enjoy the simple things such as smiling at a photo of Castiel (Misha Collins) and Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) at a bus stop. If you saw this sort of thing while walking down the street, you would never imagine in a million years that they were two guys that were really plotting anything at all.
As a matter of fact, the popular angel and Metatron do have some interesting plans for the rest of Heaven’s current hierarchy in “Sacrifice,” and it involves finding a way to take many of them down a notch, especially the oh-so controlling character of Naomi. This is just one facet of this episode, which you can read about below courtesy of this official synopsis from The CW:
“With Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) poised to undo all the good they’ve ever done as hunters, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) find themselves cornered. But with Kevin’s (guest star Osric Chau) help, the Winchester brothers bound into one last play against The Demon King. Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) initiates a plan with Castiel (Misha Collins) to take on Naomi (guest star Amanda Tapping) and the bureaucracy of Heaven.”
Will Metatron appear in the show’s ninth season? At the time of Armstrong’s casting, it was left fairly ambiguous as to what his fate would be. We know that Collins will be a series regular again, so the opportunity will be there for some interesting stories.

Isn’t it great that everyone has a special story/place on this show except Dean?
Carver really must want Jensen to quit.
I guess he figures the show will be all right with just Sam and Cas, since those are the only characters he’s writing for.

The only thing I really want to know is whether or not closing the gates of hell will somehow open Lucifer’s cage and if the 2014 Future from Season 5 is still a possibility. If they also decide to close the gates of heaven will Cas go mortal afterall like he did in that episode? I just don’t feel that this show will end in an epic fashion if they don’t have a grudge match with Satan. Just my two cents.

i was wondering the lucufier thing too because this would set up a perfect plot for the boys to close the gates of heaven.

Right, I am wondering if closing the gates of hell will expel Michael and Lucifer because technically they are Angels.
