‘Supernatural’ season 8, episode 22 preview: Sam, Dean, and Castiel’s reunion

SupernaturalHave you been eagerly awaiting a reunion-of-sorts between all of the members of the “Supernatural” crew? If so, then we figure that you may enjoy next week’s new episode “Clip Show,” which is the second-to-last installment of the season. The stakes have never been higher now that the third trial has become clear, but unfortunately, Crowley is going to be out for blood even more so than he ever has been before.

In order to best keep track of all the madness that is clear to us after hearing this week just how necessary it is that Sam and Dean kill a demon, we present to you a pair of different resources: The promo video below, and the official synopsis that we have to share now courtesy of The CW:

“Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) reunite with Castiel (Misha Collins). Digging through the Men of Letters’ files, they stumble upon an undiscovered film which could be the key to the third trial. Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) enlists Cass to mull over problems at home. Meanwhile, Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) digs into Sam and Dean’s past.”

In digging into this past, Crowley is going to effectively do something to completely turn the whole idea of a clip show on its head: Make memories into something horrible. It’s a pretty fantastic change, and a way to bring some characters from early on in the series’ run back, including Taylor Cole’s Sarah Blake.
