Love Island USA season 8 episode 28: Are there any more bombshells?
As we get prepared to see the arrival of Love Island USA season 8 episode 28 — let alone the rest of the season — is this the right time to talk more about bombshells?
Well, we do think it is appropriate to at least start this piece off by noting that this is a show that has a tendency to be rather unpredictable. On paper, it is easy to argue that these are 100% done for the season, especially since there is not a lot of time left. Is there time for anyone to make a connection in a little over a week?

From the standpoint of drama, we do recognize why producers could want that — mostly because we’ve seen people like Sincere and Kenzie be open to exploring a significant amount of time into the season. They may also want more unpredictable couples and not too much people who are just in stasis most of the season. However, we’re not sure anyone who enters the season at this point has much of a chance to stir the pot at all. Jaiden, Amora, and Gal were the most likely to find a new connection and thanks to the twist last night, they are all eliminated now. Kenzie likely won’t explore more fearing a backlash.
If you do feel like Love Island USA in general did fail in the bombshell department, it is hard to really blame you. This is a show that in the past has done a great job of creating these unpredictable scenarios; however, they may have overshot bringing in those twelve men for Casa Amor. Instead, would it have been better to bring in eight or nine then, saving the three others for down the road? That’s how we are feeling at least right now.
Realistically, we’re at the time in Love Island USA where they really have to keep eliminating people as we inch closer to the end.
