Big Brother 28 live feed spoilers: Kamu, Jason, & tea party drama

Tonight in the Big Brother 28 house we had an event that will likely go down in infamy after the fact: The tea party. This was originally suggested by Mallory as a way to try to have some fun the day after the Veto, and she and a lot of other people spent most of the afternoon planning it.

However, about a good hour into the event, everything ended up being hijacked by Kamu, someone who had a plan from the start to publicly call out Jason for lying on multiple people. It was designed to make him look bad and during it, he also admitted that he would nominate Jason at the Veto Ceremony. (Once upon a time, a rule was enforced that you could not do this.)

So did Kamu come off well in this? Not necessarily. Instead, he came across as a super-intimidating guy who while calm, indicating that he has no problem airing out someone publicly. Jason clocked that this was planned, likely with the approval or input from some of his allies in the game. He also straight up said “let’s talk about the power” while looking right at Rick Devens. Some of it was fun, but a lot of it was awkward. Jason felt really isolated after and it brought back Big Brother 19 flashbacks.

With all of that said, is there a way for him to rally some votes? Well, all of this does feel like a signal for Drew and Barrett to perhaps wake up in the game. Also, could it partially inspire some of the other newbies to wake up? It is easy to love that, but also hard given they are not in power.
