If you remember that there is so much to cover on a show like “Bones” over the course of a season, there are inevitably going to be some things that are left behind. Luckily, this where the promise of future seasons comes into play, as there is always hope to see so much more once some time opens up in the schedule.
One thing that you can therefore expect to see very soon? Booth’s son Parker! Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Stephen Nathan did his best to explain that we would not have to wait very long to see him in action, and his absence from the show over the past year does not mean anything about the status of his relationship with dad:
“We probably will see Parker come back probably in the first half of the season because he’s been gone quite a while. It’s been a fully packed season so it’s been difficult to fit in all the characters we want to fit in … There are parts of [the characters’] lives we don’t see. So booth is in regular contact with his son in the same way we never saw Jack Bauer charge his cell phone, it must have been charged at some point because it always worked.”
There will be more of some other characters also shown off, as you can also expect to see Daisy play a significant role, as well, in at least a few episodes moving forward. One of the great things about having a show on nine seasons is that you have such a wealth of material to pull from. However, one of the negatives that comes into play is when you realize just how busy this can make your story schedule.
