‘Suits’ season 3 spoilers: Whose family member are we meeting?

Even though “Suits” season 3 is still in the process of filming, we are starting to get more casting scoop coming in, including some characters who are very important to the development of our series regulars.

According to a new report from SpoilerTV, an upcoming episode for the USA series is going to feature a flashback to ten years earlier, and this will allow us to meet a man known as Gordon Specter, the father of Gabriel Macht’s always-present character of Harvey. The potential here for great entertainment is enormous, especially since we all know Harvey to be quite a dominating force in the firm. He had to get that from somewhere, and we’re betting it is at least in part due to either his dad or some other people that he met early on in life.

“Suits” is currently in production in Toronto, with some new episodes being written as the spring goes on. The first ten episodes of the season will start airing on a new night Tuesday, July 16, with the latter six coming up early next year (a format similar to what the show did this time around). Following the merger that took place during the finale, it is certainly fair to say that Harvey is going to have to deal with there being a few more cooks in his kitchen (and many of them could very well end up clashing with him).
