‘Glee’ season 4, episode 20 preview: Jane Lynch, Becca Tobin talk ‘Annie’ number

Sue SylvesterIf you really thought that Sue Sylvester was going to leave McKinley High behind forever following her dismissal on “Glee,” then you obviously don’t know this character very well. In addition to living and breathing nasty,Sue also  lives and breathes the Cheerios, and so seeing NeNe Leakes’ Coach Roz Washington take over the gig (despite possibly having no experience in cheerleading at all) is causing her to slowly erupt in jealous rage.

However, Sue’s not going to manifest her anger this time around in throwing or destroying anything like she did during the post-Super Bowl episode. Instead, Jane Lynch talks in the video below about performing “Little Girls” from the musical “Annie” during a montage on the show Thursday night. This is an especially-appropriate number given that Lynch is going to be starring in a revival of the play during the show’s hiatus this summer, she explains in the video below that this is almost a sneak peek of her on the Great White Way.

Meanwhile, the video also features Becca Tobin (Kitty) talking about the performance, and how she may very well end up being Jane’s cheerleader in real life for the musical. It’s ultimately yet another good sign of the camaraderie that exists between all of the cast, including some of the folks that have only been on the show for a season.

While Sue is going through her bitter period here, expect to see Blaine concocting a full-fledged investigation into whether or not Sue really was responsible for the gun going off at McKinley … which could open the door for her return depending on whether or not Becky confesses.
