‘Two and a Half Men’ season 10, episode 21 preview: Alan’s breakup hits him hard

There will be tears on Thursday night’s new “Two and a Half Men” season 10 episode, but it is fair to say that they are not going to be coming from any of the viewers watching at home. Instead, we are going to see Alan sniffling and crying over something that pretty much any person in real life saw coming for months on end, the breakup between him and Lyndsey.

Let’s be honest here – who in the world imagined these two staying together for as long as they did? It’s a miracle that Alan lasted this long, and now he is going to have to turn to Walden for consolation in the way that Walden turned to him not long after he and Bridget went their separate ways at the start of season 9 when Ashton Kutcher first joined the show.

Expect plenty of silliness and hijinks to ensue as a result of this split, but we also have to ask the following question: Is this really the end for Alan’s relationship? We can never really rule anything out on this show, considering that Lyndsey already has put up with Jon Cryer’s character for around five times the length of the average human being, so who is to say that she couldn’t deal with him acting like a fool and carrying on for a little while longer?
