On Sunday night’s new “Game of Thrones” episode, we had the second straight episode of shockers, beginning with the complete debacle of the Night’s Watch and ending with the stunning destruction of Astapor’s slaver popular by Danaerys. With this one move, she now holds much more power than she has really since the beginning of the show.
So is the Mother of Dragons going to be featured heavily in next week’s “Kissed by Fire”? Based on the fact that she is in the promo, you have to assume that she will at least have a role; however, that seems to be it for the time being. The video instead focuses more on the Stark family, in particular two that were not featured at all in “And Now His Watch Has Ended”: Robb and Jon Snow. While the latter continues to be at the center of threats from almost everyone within the Wilding community, the former is dealing with a completely different sort of situation … and it’s all courtesy of Tywin Lannister, and the hint that war between the two parties is finally starting to brew.
Even Arya Stark looks to play a major part in the story moving forward, and we are also going to have an opportunity to see Jaime Lannister presented to Lord Bolton in all of his “glory.” This has not been an easy journey for this character so far, and we have a feeling that it is only going to continue to get harder from here on out as his own ally left seemingly is Brienne, who can only protect him so much.
