‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 notes: David Morrissey and Lauren Cohan

David MorrisseyIn just around three weeks, the cast of “The Walking Dead” is going to be descending upon Atlanta for the start of season 4 production; but before we dive too deep into that, we have to spend a few minutes here talking about some of what is spreading around the internet to hype up the show.

First, we have to talk about the evolution of “Rick-Rolling.” Even though the show has not even taped a single second of footage, there are people out three desperate for scoop on anything and everything. With that in mind, someone has created a YouTube video claiming to be a season 4 “trailer,” when it fact it turns into something very different and hilarious when it comes to David Morrissey’s character of The Governor.

This video has quickly gone viral since hitting the internet a little over a week ago, and has over 133,000 views as of this writing.

Walking DeadOne last memory – Before we start talking too much more about season 4 in the coming weeks, why not start to get retrospective for a moment. The attached photo here was posted on both Lauren Cohan and Laurie Holden’s Twitter accounts, and does serve as a nice reminder of some of the bonds that quickly formed out on the set between all of the actors who work hard to make this series a success.

If there is one element of this production that is easily ignored, it is the speed in which some of these bonds are forged. These actors are working out in the Atlanta area, which is far away from where most TV shows are filmed these days. With that in mind, they do become a tight-knit family, and when one character dies, it’s a sad event for all.

Sadly, Holden’s days as Andrea are done, but at least we have more of Cohan and Andrew Lincoln for a while longer.

If you want to see what departing “Walking Dead” showrunner Glen Mazzara is up to now, be sure to check out the story over at the link here.
