‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: More from Lea Michele, ‘Sons of Anarchy’s’ Katey Sagal

With there being so much breaking at the moment from the “Glee” universe leading into Thursday night’s new episode “Shooting Star,” it only makes sense to focus on this occasion on a few smaller stories that are worth noting.

First of all, how about the news that the show is already working on its season 4 finale airing next month? It appears like this episode is in pre-production and starting the recording process while the penultimate episode is being shot, and Lea Michele promised in a pair of posts on Twitter that are some rather big things to expect. First of all, she is receiving the opportunity to perform a song that she has been “dying” to do on the show for an extremely long time. Not only that, but she has also read the script, and promises that there are going to be a number of “shockers and cliffhangers” ahead. While “Glee” has not been officially renewed yet for a season 5, we know that it’s coming.

Meanwhile, the next photo that we’re showing here revolves very much around upcoming guest star Katey Sagal, who is going to be playing the mother of Kevin McHale’s Artie Abrams. The “Sons of Anarchy” star was actually the personal choice of McHale to play the character, and we anticipate that, like Gloria Estefan last year, she will be involved in graduation and helping Artie plan out his future a little bit. (As for why Becca Tobin is in the photo, we don’t really know; maybe just for the photo op?)
