‘Doctor Who’ season 7: Some fun with Jenna-Louise Coleman, Matt Smith

Doctor WhoIn just a matter of six days now, “Doctor Who” will be back on BBC One and BBC America in order to delight, entertain, and simply remind us of why this show has as many fans as it does. There are some great episodes coming up, including one written by one of the masters of fantasy these days in Neil Gaiman.

So what can we add to this excitement? How about a video featuring two of the show’s stars! In the clip below, you can see Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman have a bit of fun as the actress interviews the show’s star.

There are some pretty entertaining questions and answers in here, as Matt Smith proclaims that if he was to take on the character from another show, he would be Bryan Cranston’s famed role of Walter White from “Breaking Bad.” We also learned about some of his favorite breakfast foods, comparing the TARDIS to a fancy card, and how he thinks that The Doctor’s companion is somehow applicable to a mole or a llama.

This video is especially refreshing to see right now following all of the gossip away from the show suggesting that Smith is considering stepping down from the series when his contract expires after the Christmas episode. Despite the talk, BBC has come out and said that no decisions have been made on the actor’s future right now, and the episodes airing later this year (as a part of season 8) have yet to even be composed.

Do you like the chemistry that we are seeing already from Matt as well as Jenna-Louise? If you want to read some more of the latest “Doctor Who” news, you can do so over at the link here.
