ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2, episode 17 preview: Emily Thorne meets a bombshell

If there is one thing that we have learned about Emily Thorne over the past season and a half, it is that this leading lady of “Revenge” loves to be the one constantly in power. With that in mind, we anticipate what is happening on Sunday night’s new episode “Victory” to be a major shock to her system.

As the first preview from the episode (via ABC) teases, there is going to be a major shock that happens during the final five minutes, and it will be so stunning that not a single person is going to see it coming. IF you were to based this solely on the promo below, you would think that it will somehow involve David Clarke. Will this really be the case? We’re doubtful, mostly because these promos have a tendency to be massive red herrings.

There are still a number of matters that Emily needs to take care of, and fast, if she wants to keep herself in a reasonably safe position. One of the most obvious ones is trying to find a way to ensure that she can get her foster brother Eli out of town, since he seems almost completely intent right now on causing as much trouble for her as possible. In addition to that, there is the pesky Falcon hacker who has now figured out a way in which to protect the Grayson family, and render some of Nolan’s skills to be completely and totally useless.
