‘The Lying Game’ season 2, episode 8 review: What happened to Teresa?
On tonight’s episode of “The Lying Game” season 2, Teresa is late for her wedding to Dan and everyone is worried. Dan cancels the wedding to find out what happened to Teresa, and when he goes to her apartment he finds that all of her clothes are gone and her engagement ring was left on the counter, making it look like she left him. Dan is convinced that there is something more going on and that this was a set up.
Jordan tells Mads that he’s done with Rebecca, but she tells him that he has to prove it for her to believe it. Jordan tries to tell Rebecca that he’s done being blackmailed by her, but she reminds him that he’s the one that helped frame Alec. Jordan goes to Alec and asks him if his offer to help is still on the table and he says yes as long as he keeps doing what Rebbecca asks for now. Rebecca asks Jordan to spy on Mads and he agrees, unfortunately for him, Mads over hears. Jordan goes to Mads and tells her everything, saying that he is doing all of this so that he can be with her.
Rebecca goes to see Sutton at the cabin, saying that she’s hasn’t heard from her since her confession to Sutton. She asks Sutton for forgiveness, but Sutton decides to try and needle Rebecca about Teresa going missing and about “framing” Alec (a very dangerous move since we don’t really know what she’s capable of). Sutton asks Emma for a truce and tells her the truth about Rebecca, saying that she’s been working with Rebecca to try and help her get Ted back. Sutton says that Rebecca has been lying to her and wants Emma’s help, but Emma tells Sutton that she won’t help her and tells her to leave. Sutton is convinced that Emma has information that she’s not sharing so she goes to Ethan and asks what’s going on and he tells her everything.
Emma wants time to prove that Ted is innocent of kidnapping Teresa and asks Ethan to keep it quiet until she can get the evidence she needs to clear Ted’s name. Ted shows up at Kristen’s house looking for his missing hospital key card and ends up getting into a fight with Kristen over Alec where Ted crosses the line by smashing a vase full of flowers. In a crazy emotional stupor, Ted drives to the graveyard (to Derek’s grave) looking for his hospital card and Emma is there waiting for him, holding the card.
