‘Dancing with the Stars’ rumors: Is ‘Bachelor’ Sean Lowe in demand?
First, the rumors were that the “Dancing with the Stars” producers had an interest in hiring Emily Maynard of “The Bachelorette” to be a contestant on the upcoming season; and now, the latest talk suggests that they could instead be more interested in a man that she famously turned down on the reality show last summer.
According to a new report from Us Weekly, producers for the ballroom competition are beyond interested in putting Sean, who is arguably the most-popular leading man the show has had ever, on the show when it premieres in March. However, what is still unclear is whether or not the Dallas-based entrepreneur really wants to give it a go. By the time the show actually begins, he will be just getting the opportunity to have a public life with the woman that he picked on “The Bachelor” after months of keeping it a secret; with that in mind, he may be interested in spending his free time with her rather than in a rehearsal studio learning how to foxtrot.
Plus, “Dancing with the Stars” does not have the greatest track record ever when it comes to “Bachelor” stars competing on the show. While Melissa Rycroft managed to win the all-stars season, the other two alums were Trista Sutter (who was the first person out on the inaugural season) and Jake Pavelka (who split from Vienna Girardi not long after the finale). If Sean is worried about fame putting a strain on his relationship, it would make perfect sense for him to walk away. Plus, Emily has had a little bit more time to get over her breakup from Jef Holm, and her only concern would be making sure her daughter Ricki was taken care of.
We know that “Dancing with the Stars” is probably only going to cast one of the two (if either one of them), and we should know more later this month when the official cast is announced.

Emily Maynard is not that pretty. To me, she is cheap looking. Too much make-up. Desiree would be good on dancing with the stars opposite Seal Lowe. That would be something to watch. I would have Desiree as the new Bachelorette. Linsey Yenter(a), not that appealing. Her voice drives me nuts. Too young!
