House of the Dragon season 3: Are Cannibal, Grey Ghost coming?

If there is one thing that House of the Dragon season 3 has done a great job at so far … well, let’s just say that it is clear from the show’s title. They have not only made sure to include a ton of dragons over the course of the show’s run, but they also have distinct personalities and appearances. Every part of it stands out in an exciting way, no?

Given just how many dragons we have come to meet over the course of the past two and a half seasons, you could easily argue that we’re done with the winged creatures. However, that may not necessarily be the case! There are still more in Fire & Blood, including two notable ones in Cannibal as well as Grey Ghost.

So could these two be coming at some point? Well, based on what we are hearing from showrunner Ryan Condal, he is not looking to confirm or deny anything at present. Just see what he had to say to IGN:

“I think assumption and expectation are probably dangerous words to use in this particular world … No, look, there’s a lot of runway left, and it is called House of the Dragon. It is The Dance of the Dragons. I think there are more dragon cards to be turned over as time rolls on here.”

Ultimately, it is our hope that we hear about at least one more dragon this season — mostly because it would be fun. With that being said, though, there is another drama happening right now with Sheepstealer alone, let alone some of the others!
