‘Bones’ season 8 preview: Booth and Brennan get in touch with their teenage years

BonesAfter last week’s heart wrenching episode of “Bones” season 8 where we watch Brennan struggle not only to stay alive, but also with her strong beliefs that faith and God aren’t real, we are looking forward to Monday night’s episode where it looks like the show will be returning to a bit of a lighter tone.

On tomorrow night’s all new episode of “Bones” season 8 the focus of the Jeffersonian lab’s investigation will be placed squarely on the remains of a 15 year old boy.  While at first the teenage is thought of to be a smart, socially awkward boy that was well liked through out the school, he is later linked to some illegal behavior as well as some serious allegations of assault.  Brennan and Bones will find themselves reverting to how they acted in their teenaged years to try and get into a younger head space to help solve the case.  Finn will also struggle with whether or not he should tell Cam that her daughter is in town for the weekend.

After watching the new preview of tomorrow night’s episode (you can check it out below) we are pretty excited to see that there will be some of the fun chemistry back between the staff now that Brennan is back on her feet and ready to work.  Will her brush with death change her character going forward?  We are hoping that it will in some small way and that we can see more of her emotional side that we saw last week.

Monday night’s new episode of “Bones” called “The Friend in Need” will be airing February 18th at 8 p.m. on Fox – will you be tuning in?  Leave us a comment and tell us what you hope (if anything) changes with Brennan’s character moving forward.
