‘New Girl’ season 2, episode 17 preview: Nick and Jess get … weirder

Just in case you did not think that things could become any worse for Nick and Jess on “New Girl,” it turns out that they can. Why? Because Schmidt, otherwise known as the most awkward and judgmental man in society, has now figured out just what these two have done.

Tuesday night’s new episode of the Fox comedy carries with it the title of “Parking Spot,” and you can expect there to be some more tension that forms inside the loft when Schmidt makes some of his concerns clear (even if many of them make little sense, especially when you consider just what he has done in order to get in CeCe’s good graces as of late). The following synopsis of the episode courtesy of TV Guide sheds a little bit more light into just what we can expect:

“Schmidt discovers a primo parking spot, which the roommates then fight over. Meanwhile, Winston searches for a condom after receiving an unexpected invitation from Daisy.”

Hopefully, Winston’s storyline will be carried over here seamlessly from “Cooler” when he first met Daisy, as this, even if no one is talking about it, was one of the most intriguing storylines the show has been given the character over the past several months. Eventually, one of these roommates is going to experience some personal growth, and he could very well be the person to do it.

Overall, this episode on paper looks to be entertaining, though the verdict will of course continue to be out until Tuesday night.
