‘Game of Thrones’ season 3: A new reason to laugh while waiting (video)
There are a number of “Game of Thrones” season 3 videos out there making fun of the show itself … but how many are there that actually poke fun at the long and at times strenuous waiting process for new episodes?
With this in mind, be sure to check out the video below in order to get a completely different look at the waiting process … an animated one. Basically, we have animated versions of Tyrion and King Joffrey talking about what they want to see moving forward, and the latter continuously blabs on and on about he wants to see some more X-rated material in the show moving forward. We won’t spoil what happens here, but let’s just say that there is a cameo from Dany at the end.
This video is worth a few moderate laughs, though we do also wish that the punchline was something different than what “Saturday Night Live” did with their “Game of Thrones”-inspired sketch last year. The show is rated TV-MA for a reason, and we actually don’t feel like season 2 was nearly as gratuitous as season 1. With that being said, however, Emilia Clarke has already promised that there will be a good deal of skin for her own character moving forward, but did not really elaborate beyond that.
The series will return to HBO beginning on Sunday, March 31, and hopefully we will have some more opportunities to share some content straight from the network and the producers before that time.
Do you find this video funny, annoying, or a little bit of both? If you want to learn just when there will actually be a real “Game of Thrones” season 3 trailer available for all to see, you can do so by heading on over to the link here.
