ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 5 spoilers: First video at Nathan Fillion – Gina Torres reunion

If you were a huge fan of “Firefly,” then you have yet another reason to be thoroughly excited about what is coming on “Castle” Monday night. This episode is entitled “Reality Star Struck,” and in addition to giving us a reunion between Nathan Fillion and Gina Torres for the first time on this show, but we are also going to have what should make for a pretty funny spoof of “The Real Housewives” franchise.

Sadly, there are no scenes in the promo below that show off a conversation between Torres and Fillion, but you have to believe that the producers behind the show found a way to pair these two together in at least a few scenes in order to provide the proper fan service. However, we do have Torres in bed with a man, just as we also have Beckett doing her best impersonation fo Teresa Giudice as she flips over a table.

After a very serious and dark episode of the show in “Recoil” last night, it’s certainly understandable why the producers behind the show would choose to give us now an hour that is a bit more light-hearted in nature. After all, the two episodes that immediately follow this one (which is also set during Valentine’s Day) are going to be the emotional two-partner that brings us a first look at James Brolin playing the part of Castle’s dad. Expect some movement here for Rick and Kate, and a simple resolution to the reality TV case by the end of the hour.
