What divorce? Bethenny Frankel to guest star on ‘The Neighbors’
Bethenny Frankel has now found one of the perfect ways to get away from all of the nasty talk about her split and divorce filing from Jason Hoppy: have a little bit of fun on a comedy. Of course, in this case it is just about the silliest comedy that she could have picked.
According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, the “Bethenny Ever After” star (who also has her talk show returning this year) will be appearing in an episode of “The Neighbors” on ABC set to air in March or April, where she will be playing a businesswoman who tries to help Debbie Weaver (Jamie Gertz) get her business selling handbags to the next level.
Of course, it certainly makes sense to have Bethenny appear in this part, given that she reportedly sold her line of Skinnygirl drinks for around $120 million. She also has her toes dipped into a number of other ventures, and has said publicly that she went into “The Real Housewives of New York City” with a plan to use it as a launching pad for businesses. Since that point, no one except for maybe NeNe Leakes has succeeded on anywhere near the same sort of level.
Bethenny’s split from Jason (who she originally married as a part of a special Bravo series) dominated most of the headlines during the holiday season, but we are pleased now to be seeing her moving forward into some other work. This is not the first time she has worked with ABC, either, having taken part in the ill-fated “Skating with the Stars” competition show.

Way to go Bethenny, I love that show and you are the perfect addition, maybe they will give you some recurring character, that would be great too.
