‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Naya Rivera, Lea Michele, and much more
It may seem like an eternity since we have had new episodes of “Glee” season 4 lighting up our TV set, but the good news here is that the wait is almost over. On Thursday, January 24, the show is going to return with “Sadie Hawkins Dance,” but in following that up is an episode entitled “Naked” that is surely going to get plenty of people talking … especially fans of Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry.
Fox has finally released a full list statement along with a guest cast for this episode, but the part that we want to really emphasize here is to not necessarily take the guest cast at its word. While we were starting to believe that Damian McGinty was is “Sadie Hawkins Dance” thanks to him being listed in that press release, the fact that he is also listed here makes that a little less likely given that he has not really been around the show’s set so far in 2013:
“The glee club puts together a calendar photo shoot to raise money as they head into Regionals. Meanwhile, Rachel wins a part in a student art film, but the role poses a moral dilemma in the all-new “Naked” episode of GLEE airing on Thursday, Jan. 31 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. The part of this cast listing that is for sure accurate is that this is the episode that features the return of Dianna Agron’s Quinn Fabray, as she is going to b paying a visit to Rachel and Kurt in New York City.
We’ll close here with a tiny tease concerning Naya Rivera, who posted recently on Twitter that she has been working on a “fiery” musical number for the show. We don’t know what that means, but we’re excited.

Yup, the deceit, along with other poor behaviors by the producers, have caused me to stop watching the show. I do check to see if certain performers will appear, and if they do, I will record the episode and watch just those portions. It’s a shame they can’t think of a better way to generate interest. The show does have some very talented performers, but it’s just not worth wading through the lousy scripts to see them.

Aah…explains the earlier posts and confusion over whether Damian McGinty will be in this episode. Remarkably careless of Fox and Glee, or is it a deliberate attempt to attract the fans of the performers that won’t actually be in the episode? Hmmm…….

Honestly, we’ve learned that it may be to keep people guessing who don’t read many spoilers. Personally, we’d prefer that they just cut out the guest cast altogether if they want to keep it a secret rather than to deceive the media / viewers.

The fact that Dianna and Jayma are listed as cast members, rather than guest cast is further indication that the cast information in Fox press releases is worthless.
And certainly is Ashley Fink was in another episode we’d have heard about that now too.
