‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Will Marley move past her eating disorder?
After Marley’s collapse at Sectionals during “Glee” season 4, fans are wondering if she will be going down and even darker path or if her fainting spell was hitting rock bottom for her when it comes to her eating disorder.
In a new interview with E! Online, Melissa Benoist talked about her character’s dark, painful journey with Marley’s eating disorder and assured fans that what happened at Sectionals, was rock bottom for her. Benoist said: “There are a lot of bright things for her future. She had to go through what she went through to really appreciate her strengths. And I think it’s a new day for her coming up.”
With the future looking brighter for Marley will she be able to get her love life back in order, or will she still be flip flopping back and forth between Jake and Ryder? That remains to be seen, especially since Marley still has a long way to go before she has her eating disorder taken care of. During the Christmas episode we did learn that Marley’s mom is putting all of her money (and Sue’s donation) towards getting her daughter the treatment she needs, so the bright and cheerful Marley that we all know and love will be on her way back to us.
There have been some rumors that there may not be a season 5 of “Glee” (although it looks like there will be), but Benoist said that if she was asked to come back for season 5 she would definitely be interested in coming back to the show.
“Glee” season 4 returns to Fox on January 10th at 9 p.m. – will you be watching?

Concur absolutely with Sam’s comments above. I really cannot imagine why there would be a Season 5 of this show. Glee is so, so badly written, and the scripts are so filled with hateful behavior (no matter how much the producers claim the opposite), that it’s just boring and sad to try to watch the show. If the musical portions of the show were better selected or produced, it might help a bit, but still would not be enough to salvage the awful scripts and characters’ hateful behaviors.

Hey Carter as always I would like to say you have done yeomen service to try and salvage this season of Glee. I feel that the show is way of the rails and will never recover but you have been anything but polite and courteous and a team player where this show is concerned. I feel the arrogance of the writers of glee has led to the demise of the show itself. I will not be watching any of the remaining episodes of glee because I am not interested in the direction this show is going. I hope the actors that I enjoyed on the show will get success elsewhere and wish this particular actress all the luck in her future show.
