‘2 Broke Girls’ season 2, episode 12 preview: A Merry Christmas?

Just like “How I Met Your Mother” airing before it, “2 Broke Girls” on Monday night is going to be airing an episode that is in many ways all about getting into the holiday spirit. With that being said, the holiday spirit for this show is of course far and away different than it would be for one that carries with it a significantly more positive tone.

So what is the story behind this episode? Basically, it involves Max and Caroline (who have really seen their money run dry as of late in order to start up their cupcake business) try and get things together in order to pay their rent; however, this also involves getting involved with some people who do not always know the meaning of “Merry Christmas.” Sadly, we don’t really get much of this in the promo below, as it focuses more on some holiday zingers involving Han, along with Caroline joking that a piece of candy keeps them from having to buy food.

The interesting part about “2 Broke Girls” season 2 is that after becoming the target of so much controversy last year, the show has managed this time around to really fly under the radar. The show’s ratings have been incredibly strong all season long (the best of CBS’ Monday lineup), but the quality has been consistently a step above what we saw for most of last year. Let’s just hope that the holiday episode continues this trend.
