‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley’s deal
Is the fighting now over between the Salvatore brothers on “The Vampire Diaries” season 4? Based on the latest sneak peek that has been released from Thursday night’s new episode “We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street,” we are at least more inclined to say “yes” here than we were previously. Well, we should modify that here to say that the fighting will so much as the deal between the two parties works out.
In the new sneak peek video below, you can see exactly what sort of deal we are talking about. Stefan (Paul Wesley) is pretty convinced at this point that Elena (Nina Dobrev) is sired to Damon (Ian Somerhalder), and for that reason, he thinks that she is completely incapable of acting of her own free will. Is there someone who can change that for her? Yes, and he goes by the name of Damon. However, before you can try to break a sire bond, you have to acknowledge that it is there, and thus we have the new test.
Specifically, Stefan asks Damon to tell Elena to try and drink blood from a bag, largely to see if her body will actually accept it. If it does, then it is pretty much official that the sire bond is there and she is just acting emotionally based on what Damon is telling her to do. If her body rejects it, however, then Elena is really acting towards Damon from a genuine place of affection, and no just from some sort of emotions that have become even higher simply because she drank his blood.

I can’t stand to see all of these negative comments regarding Stefan! If Elena loves Damon that’s fine but Stefan should not be railed on for being hurt or trying to figure out why she changed so quickly. Just remember Karma’s a bitch. As soon as Elena’s fall for Damon she’ll be pining for Stefan again.

They said the Klaus/hybrids sire bond came from the hybrids appreciation to Klaus that they no longer had to change every full moon….so why the hell is Elena sired to Damon?? What did Damon turning her into a vampire give her to be appreciative about?? In fact, she never WANTED to be a vampire before this and made that obvious….so I don’t understand this whole sire thing. I hope it turns out to just be Stefan’s lame attempt at getting her back and that it doesn’t work, and for ONCE Damon gets what he wants and deserves, and him & Elena live happily ever after through out the rest of the series. Lets face it, that ending scen with Delena was HOT!!! I have never seen it like that with Elena and boring old Stefan! I think Elena’s TRUE feelings have been magnified (which would make sense with the rest of the story line – unlike the sire bond – because that is what has happened with EVERY OTHER VAMPIRE on the show), and she loves Damon and now that she is a vampire, she is not scared to follow her true feelings. Stefan left, Damon stayed and protected her…Damon is hot, sweet and cares about Elena on a level that Stefan doesn’t….would Damon have left Elena in the water and rescued Matt instead?? NEVER!!!!! DELENA FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is sired. It’s the only thing that makes sense. Elena would never have slept w/ Damon one day after breaking up w/ Stefan. Elena is in love w/ Stefan and choose him at the end of S3. Her love for him should be stronger than her feelings for Damon. I do not believe she loves Damon more than Stefan. She was sired to him in the books too. I think Stefan will be the one who breaks her sire bond b/c on his promo card he was holding keys and it said “From honor, comes salvation”.

I have to say not a fan of either couple. I am a klaus/caroline fan with that said i am having a problem with the whole sire thing i thought tyler/klaus was because of the hybrid thing. When caroline became a vamp she wasn’t sired to damon either was vicki so this isn’t making sense.

Elena is sired to Damon, that’s why she wants to be with him right now. That’s the only justification for Elena’s downward spiral towards Damon. If she was acting on her own free will, she wouldn’t choose Damon. Hopefully they’ll figure out how to un-sire her soon!

I think that Stefan just can’t deal with the fact that
Hi older brother is happy with the girl they both love
Hence the reason why he is trying to rewind damon and
Elanas life.

When Klaus turned Tyler it was because he gave Tyler his blood and then killed him – hence the Sire-Bond was born. How come its now changed to “because she drank his blood” – feel quite cheater – Dalena are awesome together the chemistry is amazing unlike dull boring Stefan
