‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2, episode 9 preview: Captain Hook meets up with…
Who knew that Captain Hook had so rich of a history with so many “Once Upon a Time” characters? He was never referenced at all during the show’s first season, but now, we are learning that a good chunk of Storybrooke residents other than Rumpelstiltskin already have an idea just what sort of man he is. Thankfully, the sneak peek below at least shows off some of the more vile side of the character we have been angling to see for some time.
In the latest sneak peek from the winter finale (entitled “The Queen of Hearts”) below, we have an opportunity to see Hook do anything and everything to seek revenge on the man who wronged him, including try and seek out assistance from someone else who may be scorned in Belle. However, she was in no way any use to him; and just as he was about to do away with her for good, the Evil Queen interrupted his plan and forced him to see things through her own brand of reason.
Considering that Mr. Gold is alive in Storybrooke, it is pretty easy to figure out that whatever plan the Queen and Hook worked on was unsuccessful. However, you have to wonder if Regina may have also given Hook a reason to loathe her, and whether or not he will thus be out for more than one person upon his eventual arrival in the real world. (He has to get there eventually, right? After all, Colin O’Donoghue is a series regular now.)
If you want to view another sneak peek for this episode that features more on Regina and Mr. Gold’s attempts to stop Cora from arriving in their quaint Maine community (much to the chagrin of Henry), you can do so here.
