‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: The connection to the sleeping curse
On the last new “Once Upon a Time” season episode nearly a full week ago, we learned something rather valuable when it came to how Emma and Mary Margaret may be able to return to Storybrooke: Henry’s dreams. The problem with this? Although Henry has experienced a connection now with Aurora within the dream world, he still has no idea whatsoever as to how to control it.
However, we now know that there is one other key piece to the puzzle that makes perfect sense: Mary Margaret should also be able to find him within this world. Why? She, like both Aurora and Henry, have all been put under the sleeping curse at some point in their lives; and with that, they now possess an ability that no one else has. (Who would have known there was an advantage to their shared experience?)
During the latest sneak peek for Sunday’s episode below, Mary Margaret unveils this knowledge to Aurora, who seems clearly upset about the fact that she was not told that there was someone else going through the same exact thing as her. (Does anyone else detect Sarah Bolger’s accent coming out in one of these lines?) Emma also confirms with Sleeping Beauty that the child she is seeing in her dreams is in fact her son; and thus, a plan is born.
However, we already know that this plan is not going to be a particularly easy one to execute. As we saw in another sneak peek for this episode, Captain Hook and Cora are going to be reunited, and they will share the common purpose of obtaining the Compass, getting to Storybrooke on their own terms, and then creating all sorts of havoc.
