ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2 spoilers: Madeleine Stowe on watery grave mystery

Although there has been quite a bit to unfold on “Revenge” season 2 ever since we were first introduced to the submerged boat at the start of the season, we admit that this is still an image that very much remains on our mind. What is the meaning behind it? This is a question that we hope the rest of the season will answer, and based on what Madeleine Stowe is saying now, there are still some aspects of the mystery that are up in the air.

While all indications still suggest that this question will be answered at some point this year, Stowe tells TVLine that even she (and possibly the show’s own creator) are still trying to learn all of the finer details concerning who is on that unfortunate boat, and what their death could mean to the show:

“I sort of know who’s on it — but there might be more than one person. I think [creator] Mike [Kelley] is actually still deciding.”

While it is technically possible that anyone could be dead aboard the ship out of the main characters save for one Emily Thorne (mostly because there would be no “Revenge” without her), we still believe that Victoria fans probably have nothing to worry about. After all, why would the producers kill off a character mere weeks after she first revealed to the world that she secretly faked her own death? There just does not seem to be enough sense behind the theory at the moment for it to be the truth.
