‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: Trauma and pregnancy scares

Thanks to the Thanksgiving holiday, “Grey’s Anatomy” season 9 is going to be taking a week off in order to charge the batteries this coming week; however, Meredith, Derek, and the rest of the doctors will be back on November 29 with an episode that should contain the all-familiar gut-punch of drama that any diehard fan of the show would expect.

Let’s start with what will be the carryover from this past episode “Second Opinion”: Callie literally doing just about everything that she can in order to recuperate Derek’s hand to the point where he can operate again. This is going to be risky, though, as the wrong move during surgery could damage it even worst than it is already. Callie already feels plenty of guilt over what nearly transpired the first time around, and the last thing that she probably wants to do here with Patrick Dempsey’s character is somehow find a way to make it worse.

As for April, there could be something that leads to an even greater shock during this episode: she could be pregnant, as she announced that she is “late” during the promo below. Obviously, Jackson would be the father, and this would force the two parties down a road that they were not ready for just yet in the slightest. They were only starting, after all, to realize that they had feelings for each other beyond just a sexual relationship. Then again, shouldn’t two doctors be smart enough to use some sort of protection?

The promo promises that there will be some sort of stunner by the end of the episode that leaves the collective jaws of everyone on the floor. What could it be? That much is still a mystery, but we anticipate it not being something that is in this video already since it would be rather anticlimactic if this turned out to be the case.
