ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2 spoilers: Have we seen the last of Kara?

So what is going to be coming up next on “Revenge” season 2? As much as we know about the show, there is still quite a bit that is shrouded in mystery. For one example of this, just look at Jennifer Jason Leigh’s character of Kara Clarke. She appeared occasionally in the past few episodes of the series as she was slowly introduced back into her “daughter” Amanda’s life, only without knowing that it was actually Emily Thorne that shared the same DNA has her. However, it appears as though she is ready to take off from the Hamptons for the time being, though, as she feels herself to be some sort of distraction to everything else going on with Conrad Grayson (and now Mason) being arrested for the arrest of her lover Gordon Murphy.

But is the story of Kara really done on the show? Far from it. Speaking in a new interview with E! News, series star Ashley Madekwe confirmed that Jennifer Jason Leigh would be returning for some more episodes later this season, and it is hopefully then that Kara will really learn just who her real daughter is. For those of you curious, Madekwe also said that her character of Ashley and Daniel Grayson are still together for the time being, even though there are no gurantees things will stay that way forever.

Thanks largely to the American Music Awards, “Revenge” will be without a new season 2 episode on Sunday night; however, it will be back the very next day with more adventures from the strange world that these characters call home.
