ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2 spoilers: First look at a terrible Thanksgiving (video)

What better way to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday than with gunfire, new faces, and people sharing nasty stories about each other while at the dinner table? Somewhere, the producers for “Revenge” must have been thinking this in creating the promo for the next season 2 episode in “Lineage.” It’s awkward, dramatic, funny, and thoroughly entertaining.

For one, this episode is going to feature the arrival of Victoria’s mother, who we are quickly going to learn is someone who is just as vindictive as her daughter is. She has her own ax to grind, and there is going to be all sorts of family gossip that comes as a result. After all, you know that there is going to be some pretty great entertainment that comes out of just how intense this woman can be, and how she taught Victoria everything that she knows.

Away from the Grayson family table, there is also going to be all sorts of action surrounding a little romance as well as some action of a violent nature. There will be kissing, drama, intrigue, and someone with a gun! Let’s just hope that all of this is top-notch when it comes to story lines and acting, and that it helps to alleviate some of our current concerns that season 2 is becoming a little too over-the-top for its own good in between Victoria getting married again and Mason agreeing to take murder charges in return for a book deal. (Yep, we’re still a little shocked over that one.)
