‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: She’s back! (video)

If you thought that Cristina Yang was going to take some time to get back into the swing of things at Seattle Grace, you’re wrong; just one week after she made the decision to leave Minnesota over the treatment of the now-departed Dr. Thomas, Thursday night’s new episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” season 9 is going to feature our favorite snarky doctor back where she belongs.

So are all of the interns going to appreciate this new arrival? It doesn’t sound like it. Cristina can be a cold, cold woman to try and deal with sometimes; she’s opinionated, strong-willed, and she settles for absolutely nothing but the best. This can make it hard for someone new to the hospital who is still in the process of just trying to find their bearings.

The next episode is called “Second Opinion,” and the first promo for it really does not show off anything other than Cristina being hard on the interns. Do we anticipate some other stories coming into play here soon? Definitely. After all, no one has really touched on Owen’s thoughts about Cristina being back just yet, and there is also the rather important issue of what is going to happen to both Derek’s hand and the lawsuit that the doctors have filed against the airline that drastically changed their lives. So long as the high quality from this past week stays intact, and the new interns continue to be as interesting as they are so far, we have a feeling that we will be beyond satisfied.
