‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Scoop on Sue, Marley, Puck, and more

We have a plethora of new scoop all around the world of “Glee” season 4, and it includes everything from some new details about parents, a character from the past returning for a guest appearance, and a new sneak peek for Thursday night’s “The Role You Were Born To Play.”

Let’s start with some interesting news about a blast from the past: Puck’s mother is coming back! We have already told you that Aisha Tyler is going to guest-star soon as Jake Puckerman’s mom, and now we know (via TVLine) that Gina Hecht will be returning in some capacity as her character for the first time in years. To make things ever more interesting, there is another character making a guest appearance in the Christmas episode who has not been on the show this season. Who is it? It’s not confirmed, but let’s just say that this may be a strong hint at who this mystery person is.

Now, we turn to the sneak peek. The clip below shows Sue Sylvester finding a new pair of people to hate in Unique (Alex Newell) and Marley (Melissa Benoist). Her problem? She can’t come up with a way to insult Marley yet, but she will surely find a way to do so soon. This may actually be the same problem some fans have with this character at this point, as she almost feels too nice to really exist in the real world (though this is going to change in some upcoming episodes).
