‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: A new Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev scene

Are you ready for some more “Delena” action courtesy of “The Vampire Diaries” season 4? If so, let’s just say that the latest sneak peek from Thursday night’s episode “The Killer” is sure to make you crack a smile. In it, we learn a few more interesting pieces of information about what Elena (Nina Dobrev) chose to do after her crazy night out at the frat party, and that one thing she decided against doing was cluing Stefan (Paul Wesley) in on some of what she was up to.

With this very thing in mind, we turn to the latest clip courtesy of The CW (via Entertainment Weekly) that shows of perfectly some of what we are talking about here. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) arrives at Elena’s place looking for his brother, only to discover instead that he is really nowhere to be found. What’s going on here? Even Elena does not know for sure, but she does cool Damon’s jets when it comes to suspicions that Elena tattled on their night out together, and Stefan was thus avoiding him.

The stakes are going to be as high as ever this week … and there may be a pun involved in there since vampire stakes could be very much involved. Connor is back out on the loose, and for our remaining vampires the missing is simple: trying and find out as much as possible about the guy and his past before he puts a bullet laced with werewolf blood into somebody’s heart. There is a possibility of a cure for vampirism out there, so why not investigate it to the best of one’s ability? However, we would be stunned to see it ultimately in Mystic Falls … if for no other reason than that this seems to be where literally everything else is located.
