‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 spoilers: Glenn and Maggie actually have fun
On Sunday night’s new episode of “The Walking Dead” season 3, Glenn and Maggie are going to find a whole new use for one of the prison watch towers. We really don’t know if there is a better way to describe the latest sneak peek that AMC has released, mostly since it really does not serve much else of a purpose.
So is there anything else that we can get out of watching this video? It really just depends on whether or not you really can appreciate this moment beyond just a scene that fills up a moment of time. From our standpoint, this is representative of something far greater in a rare moment of levity for the show. Here you have a group of people who are clearly suffering thanks to the zombie invasion, and have been really suffering for some time. So what are they doing as a result of this? Rather than sitting around and moping over their circumstances, you have a pair of characters here who are choosing to try and celebrate at least one small moment in the middle of the chaos surrounding them.
While Rick may be the unquestioned lead of the show, in some ways Glenn and Maggie are the ray of light. Their relationship is not falling apart the same way that we are seeing something happen with Rick and Lori, and they are an example of people who actually found each other thanks to the invasion rather than going into it with some sort of predetermined relationship that they are trying to work out now.
What do you think about this sneak peek, and do you think it is important for these lighter moments to still exist in between all of the darkness?

Zombie apocalypse or not, people still have their needs.
