Interested in learning the Stumptown episode 10 return date, or some of the other exciting stuff that could be coming up? Hopefully, we can help to satisfy those curiosities!
Let’s start with the first bit of news that is out there — ABC isn’t going to be making you wait all that long to see Stumptown episode 10 back on the air. Think in terms of Wednesday, January 8. Given how late some other shows are coming, including another ABC one in Grey’s Anatomy later in the month, this doesn’t feel anywhere near as bad by comparison.
So as for what’s going to be coming up, we’d imagine that the second part of the season will be fairly close to the first in some respects. Sure, there will be some new and exciting cases, but they will be paired up with some more personal stories for Cobie Smulders’ Dex, who we’ve learned has quite a bit happening in both her personal and professional life. She’s been a compelling lead and through that, a vessel that the show can use in order to build more of a stable audience for itself. That is almost always the problem with a number of these shows in their first years — trying to find a way to ensure that they can come back for more.
The concern in regards to the future of Stumptown at the moment does come via the ratings — to date, the series is only drawing a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic and then also 3.2 million live viewers a week. For the sake of comparison, the live numbers are almost even with those of Whiskey Cavalier, and that show found itself canceled by ABC this past spring after just one season. It’s possible that Stumptown is performing better and other measures and that could save it … but everything is an unknown for now.
The last bit of advice we can give is this — recommend Stumptown to all of your friends over the coming weeks! The bigger the audience it finds, the better the chances of it coming back.
