‘Dexter’ season 7 spoilers: Yvonne Strahovski the focus of another sneak peek
Can Dexter really bring himself to kill Hannah McKay, even if his conscience (i.e. Harry) wants him to look for a little bit more evidence first? This seems to be the question that will plague our hero through the upcoming weeks of “Dexter” season 7, especially as he starts to get closer and closer to Yvonne Strahovski’s character.
More than any other moment, the sneak peek really seems to give an indication of just what sort of mental anguish Dexter is dealing with here. From one standpoint, he could very well just make the move to kill her now, and spare himself the trouble of repeating the same mistakes he made with the Trinity killer that ended with Rita’s death.
But was she really the guilty party? This is more or less what Dexter is debating, since Harry cautions him that it was very well possible that she was forced to kill someone with Wayne Randall even though she didn’t want to. Dexter’s return argument here, on the other hand, is valid: Hannah looked upon some of the past trophies when they were presented to her almost with a sense of nostalgia in her eye, like they were all old friends and she was missing having them in her life. This is going to make for a chaotic episode when we do find out the truth about Hannah; let’s just hope that it lives up to all of the hype.
What do you want to see transpire between these two characters, and do you think that there is any way that Dexter could be wrong about her still having some sort of desire to kill?
