The Bachelor premiere spoilers: How Hannah Brown arrives

Peter WeberThe Bachelor premiere is airing on ABC come Monday, January 6, and thanks to ABC, we have some of the first details!

Let’s kick things off for the time being, though, with this: The first episode is going to run for three hours! That’s obscenely long for a reality television event, but The Bachelor clearly is out to do whatever it wants and generate whatever sort of headlines it’s interested in getting. They also know that they have quite the marketing ploy for the new season in Hannah Brown, who will turn up right away and surprise Peter Weber night one. We don’t think that this is anything more than just her offering advice and/or production trolling viewers, but the women who are there that night won’t know that. It’s the sort of thing that could easily make some heads explode.

Without further ado, let’s go ahead and give you some teases courtesy of the ABC premiere synopsis:

The 30 stunning, accomplished women will do anything to catch Peter’s eye, including bringing a giant paper airplane in for an impressive landing. Peter loves the effort all these ladies are making, including the three flight attendants. He is encouraged he might meet his wife, but there is one hard-charging career woman who has already had a chance encounter with the Bachelor and sparks flew then. What will the other women think of her? It is nothing compared to the loud scream when Hannah B. steps out of the limo. Why would she be here?

There is one assertive charmer who steals Peter away multiple times during the cocktail party and then steals a kiss. But who will get the first impression rose and earn the jealousy of all the other women? It’s a very emotional first rose ceremony for Peter as he says goodbye to eight bachelorettes, some of whom predict that Peter may be in for a bumpy ride with this group of feisty ladies.

Of course there are flight attendants on this season, mostly because it’s the most obvious thing ever and ABC did something similar with Jake Pavelka when he was the lead. It sounds like most of the night one drama is firmly in the vein of what you would expect, so go ahead and prepare for that. Someone will get emotional, there will be fights, and someone who goes home right away will still end up on Bachelor in Paradise.
