The Bachelor spoilers: New promo hypes up Peter Weber night 1 drama

Peter

In honor of Thanksgiving, ABC released their latest promo for The Bachelor … and there’s enough drama in here to compete with many a family argument. (Or, a fight between people on Black Friday.)

So what is coming up over the course of this season? Peter Weber is going to have to contend with his past (Hannah Brown will be turning up, but we’re not taking her seriously as a contestant). Meanwhile, in his present he’ll have a lot of contenders interested in being with him, and then also some interested in fighting more with each other. Take, for example, some women being a little bit preoccupied with each other. (Big shocker: There are contestants calling each other fake.)

No matter how ABC chooses to package this season, we have a hard time thinking that it’s going to be altogether different from what we’ve seen before. Just look at it this way — this will continue to be a season all about women trying to figure out if they are right for Peter, and we’re sure there will be tabloid headlines mixed in. Peter will break hearts, there will be some Bachelorette contenders, and we have a feeling that there will be some awkward comedy. There will also probably be some villain who emerges midway through the season who, after the fact, will claim that she was the victim of poor editing. Then, they will go on some sort of Bachelor in Paradise redemption tour after the fact. Maybe it’ll work, or maybe they will end up with a little bit more metaphorical egg on their faces.

New episodes of The Bachelor will begin on Monday, January 6. Go ahead and prepare yourself for all sorts of chaos to arrive around then.
