NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 spoilers: Love Island host to guest star

NCIS: Los Angeles

Go ahead and consider this to be one of the most random CBS crossovers we’ve seen yet — on the upcoming NCIS: Los Angeles episode entitled “Mother,” you’ll see an appearance from Love Island host Arielle Vandenberg. With that being said, she’s not going to be coming on board the show as someone trying to find suitable romantic pairings for Sam or Callen; instead, she’ll have a different, potentially-nefarious role in mind.

What we can tell you, at least for now, is that Arielle will be playing Mara, a character described as a “crooked upscale banker.” That’s the sort of person that seems to exist often within this world, as the NCIS LA team often encounters shady people aplenty as they work to get answers to some of their biggest case-related crises.

While we know that aforementioned milestone is big, “Answers” on December 8 is going to be huge in its own right. We know that Kensi and Deeks are going to have some more important discussions on their future, just as we’re also going to see Eric try to figure out where things stand with himself and Nell. We want to think that the two of them will continue to move forward in the best way possible, but we’re kidding ourselves if we didn’t think that what happened with Eric would have zero impact on his relationship. They were away and out of communication for a while and they may need to find their groove again.

“Answers” looks to be the final episode of 2019, so we imagine that the writers are going to plant some big reveals in here. In the end, let’s just hope that it paves a rather-fantastic foundation for the series as we move into the new year. That’s where we are sure there will be a whole lot more action, just as we’re also sure that there will be some more emotional reveals.

For those curious, Love Island season 2 is going to find its way onto CBS next summer.
