Love Island USA season 8 episode 22: Bonus recoupling drama ahead
If you are not a regular viewer for the Love Island USA Aftersun episodes, there is a major reason to be moving into tonight.
Thanks to a new announcement from the series itself, it has been confirmed that tonight, you are going to see some additional footage of everything that happened during the recoupling and the guys’ return from Casa Amor. This was by far the most dramatic event from the entire season of the show, mostly due to 1) Corbin being booed relentlessly and 2) KC choosing to come back with Tierra, leaving Aniya both single and vulnerable. (She opted not to stick with Carl, who had shown a clear interest in her.)

Hearing about all of this is smart on the part of Peacock and the show’s producers, especially since a lot of questions have emerged following the show coming on the streaming service. Some eagle-eyed fans have suspected that some contestants were not present for all of the aftermath of the KC – Aniya situation, meaning that they may have been told to go somewhere and cool off. Even with the way Ariana Madix tried to push things forward, it did feel clear that there was a good bit that happened beyond what we saw. (The argument between Trinity and Tierra was obviously a part of it.)
Love Island USA will air episode 23 proper on Sunday, and that is where we can start to get a picture as to what the overall fallout is going to be here. As you would imagine, this is going to be incredibly messy and then some.
