Blue Bloods season 10 episode 3 review: Eddie gets her own story!

Blue Bloods season 10

Tonight, Blue Bloods season 10 episode 3 presented us with yet another all-the-emotions sort of cases. It’s one where family conflict ripped people apart and where Eddie had to deal with some problems courtesy of her new boss.

Let’s start with Eddie and Witten, who did show collectively how good they are at chasing down leads and getting more information on their case. Yet, her new Sergeant didn’t like her not following the traditional letter of the law. Eddie, knowing how best to schmooze, was able to use a key witness to help solve the case … but it doesn’t seem like there’s a lot of tension dying down when it comes to her and the new Sergeant. There may not be a quiet period coming up for some time still.

Meanwhile, for Danny and Baez, the two found themselves in a different sort of situation — one where they had to spend some time contemplating what was going on with a mysterious couple who didn’t want any business with cops. As it turns out, they blamed themselves for the death of their daughter, not 100% realizing that this daughter was actually still alive. Because Danny was intent on giving some more information and answers, he pushed on this case and he deserves all of the credit for the end result.

As for some other stories, Jamie and Erin ended up working together after Jamie’s new recruit was shot by a guy with a criminal history — someone who the DA’s office should have put away previously. In order to do this, though, they also needed some help from a surprise source in Anthony’s brother, a guy who wasn’t altogether keen on working with them and getting back into the game soon. Hooray for Leo helping to save the day!

Finally, Frank had to unravel whether or not an old, late friend was actually a bad person — despite everything that she did with her charity. What was he so afraid of? A lot of it had to do with some of the rather-questionable things that Mary Jane Kay’s son had to say about her. In the end, Frank decided to keep things pleasant during his conversation with people at the event, but then her son turned up. As it turned out, Matt Kay was a little more willing to speak out and pleasant about her — at least following him learning the truth.
