When you end up seeing Grey’s Anatomy season 16 episode 5 on Thursday, October 24, there are a number of things that you should know. Take, for example, that Meredith is not out of the woods when it comes to some of her legal woes just yet.
Through some of this upcoming episode (entitled “Breathe Again”), you’re going to get an opportunity to see Ellen Pompeo’s character do what she can to deal with some ramifications from a decision that she made to miss community service. We’re sure that she did not make this choice lightly, but that does not mean that, on the other side of it, she’s going to be free from consequences. There is some more stuff that she could be forced to deal with coming up, so we’d just suggest to keep your eyes peeled for some of that now.
As we prepare for this episode, we suggest now to just check out the full Grey’s Anatomy season 16 episode 5 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:
“Breathe Again” – Meredith has a court hearing after skipping out on community service, while Bailey and Jo have a patient that Jo realizes is from the treatment facility. Richard and Gemma grab breakfast together and things go awry on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, OCT. 24 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu.
Could this move by Meredith cause her to go to jail? While it may not be altogether likely, we can’t rule this out as a possibility at the moment. As a matter of fact, we’d argue that almost anything is still on the table with her since we don’t know how the legal system is going to react to a lot of different stuff that she’s got going on.
Meanwhile, also within this episode we may have a chance to learn more about what Jo went through during her treatment. We figured the opportunity would come eventually and now, here it is.
