‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: What is Ian Somerhalder wearing now?

Even though the fourth episode of “The Vampire Diaries” is actually going to be airing the day after Halloween, it still appears as though the characters are going to be in the spirit of the holiday courtesy of the first photo we have seen from the episode to the left. We have heard a little bit in the past about vampire Elena attending some sort of college frat party, and this seems to be exactly what is happening here with the fancy costumes and the red Solo cups.

So what is going to happen in this episode, save from what we see in the photo to the left? We can also confirm that Ian Somerhalder’s Damon is going to be doing his best impression of Bloody Face … mostly just thanks to the fact that he will have blood, and it will be all over his face. (Rim Shot.)

On a more serious note, this installment will also feature one of our first major flashbacks of the season, as we go all the way back in time to the 12th century to learn a little bit more about the Originals … and surprisingly, Rebekah more so than either Klaus or Elijah. With that being said, the photo to the left is of the two brothers, and we still don’t know what to make of the hairdos here. We’re not sure if they look more like an unfortunate eighties cover band, or some extras in “Braveheart” with a receding hairline. Don’t worry, Joseph Morgan and Daniel Gillies: we still love you.
