‘Game of Thrones’ season 3 spoilers: Now, for some assorted scoop
Now that the production of “Game of Thrones” season 3 is through in Northern Ireland, we are probably going to cease having so much great scoop from the set to share. With that being said, however, there are still thankfully some other sources that are being kind enough to share what they know about the episodes premiering on HBO on Sunday, March 31.
The experts over at Winter Is Coming recently shared a plethora of details about the new season in a Twitter Q&A, and while most of it consists of either hearsay or scoop you have heard about before, there are still a few important points worth mentioning, with one of the most important pieces of scoop being that we are going to see a great deal more of Samwell in season 3. We love this character since he is the underdog of this group more so than probably any other person on the show, and it also gives us a different viewpoint as to how some people in Westeros live.
In addition to that, fans of the George R.R. Martin book series should be pleased to know that the character of Arstan Whitebeard is also going to be around at some point, and that there may be some other characters from A Storm of Swords that will eventually find their way here; however, the structure of the show compared with the book pretty much means that we are not going to see all of them appear until season 4. (There will also be plenty of changes to accommodate both the length and the budget.)
