Ink Master season 12 episode 13 preview: Pon vs. Cam; who’s in danger?
It’s probably because of the level of competition now that we’re going to see tensions come to a boil — even between people on the same team. We’re starting to think at this point that teams don’t matter that much, mostly because there are only a few more eliminations to go until the finale! The preview for episode 13 shows Cam and Pon going at it with Pon claiming that he doesn’t want to hear from someone who has been tattooing a fraction of the amount of time that he has. It shouldn’t be a shock that Cam’s getting into it with someone — that’s been a theme for most of the season! He’s had some quiet moments but it was just a matter of time before everything comes to a boil again.
Meanwhile, the preview also teases that there could be a big upset and they show Dani crying — that is the sort of thing designed to make you very nervous since she is someone we could easily see at the finale. Yet, should you be nervous? Is there a major reason to be afraid? Sure, just because of the sheer number of people left — but this could be misdirection. Dani strikes us as a possible finalist, someone with unlimited creativity and a lot of skill despite being one of the least-experienced artists this season.
As for who we’re the most worried about, Cam has struggled as of late and Pon leaving at this point could be construed as an upset — we don’t see him in the finale, but we could envision a world where he maybe finishes fourth. Jake seems like the most obvious artist in danger, mostly because he’s the one with the least amount of airtime and has gotten criticism for playing it safe.
