‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Will we see Lea Michele, Cory Monteith together at all?

Bad news, “Finchel” fans: not only are Lea Michele and Cory Monteith’s “Glee” characters likely not getting back together anytime soon, it’s also looking like they really won’t even be spending any time together on screen. The only rela chance of a brief moment is going to come during the sixth episode of the season simply entitled “Grease,” and that is not even a sure thing at the moment.

So what does Lea Michele have to say about just what we can expect here? In an interview with E! News, she was as optimistic as ever about the future of Finn and Rachel despite their recent split; however, she also made it clear that this does not in any way mean that they are better off together for the time being:

“I think they are definitely spending at least a few episodes apart … The viewers have got to see them together, and apart, and it’s going to be interesting to see Rachel single in the big city. But I am obviously always rooting for them, but we’ll see!”

One of the biggest challenges for a while when it comes to these two is really when they are each actually going to get an opportunity to spend any time together at all. With Finn back in Ohio, there’s not really going to be much motivation for him to go out to New York except to occasionally see his brother Kurt; and even with that, there is no guarantee that this requires him to see Rachel in the process. Both parties also have some other love interests floating around, whether it be Brody for Rachel or someone for Finn who we haven’t met yet.

Are you okay with these two being apart, at least if it will make them a stronger couple in the end? We want to hear your thoughts below!
