What likes ahead on Are You the One? season 8 episode 10 this Monday? Let’s just put it in these terms — it’s a chance to see these people have to take on the biggest relationship task known to mankind. We’re talking here about communicating, being patient … and also building furniture.
We feel like for most people who grow up without a ton of money, building Ikea furniture is a natural part of life. This challenge speaks to that, given that these contestants are going to have to work to assemble something in pairs. To make matters worse, only one of them can view the instructions and they have to guide the other to do what is right. This isn’t an easy task to pull off, but it’s one of those things that is oddly rewarding. It’s the acquisition of a new skill and it shows you that you can focus and be more self-sufficient. It’s one of those sort of things that you would never do unless you were forced to, but on the other side of it, you suddenly feel super-good about yourself and you’re happy that you went through all of the effort to get there.
Want some more insight now about what’s coming next? Then we suggest just checking out the synopsis for the next Are You the One? episode below:
Three couples find out that they are a Perfect Match; two couples get bad news; Justin and Max get answers; Paige struggles to let down her walls.
Beyond this fun little furniture task (which you can see below), you’re also going to see in this episode Kai face a confrontation from a lot of the other people within the house. They want to see if he can change and if that’s something that he’s even interested in doing. We don’t think that they’re out to attack him; instead, it’s more just about Kai needing to realize that there are consequences to specific acts and they want him to become the best person possible. That’s going to make him into someone who is more functional and healthy on the other side of doing this show.
