Shameless season 10 spoilers: What’s next for Debbie, Carl, Lip

Shameless season 10 is going to be premiering on Showtime later this fall and as you would expect, there will be a lot of drama. We also have a sense, thanks to a new promo, of some of the stories that are coming up.

For Debbie – She’s now in charge of running the house! With Fiona now gone, she’s got herself a little more money and an opportunity to be a leader of sorts around the house. Yet, she’s not going to be a caretaker. Much as you saw at the end of last season, she rules the Gallagher house with an iron fist and doesn’t want to clean up after the rest of the family.

For Ian – We know that there’s going to be a lot of time spent with him and Mickey together in prison. They may not remain there forever, but Cameron Monaghan said recently that this was a storyline that appealed to him, and it’s one of the reasons why he decided to come back in the first place.

For Lip – He’s going to become a father! The preview shows that the baby has arrived after the pregnancy storyline last season, and we imagine that having another baby around this family will produce all sorts of chaos on its own. This isn’t going to be the sort of thing that everyone handles well, and for Lip, it’s going to be so interesting seeing how he goes from growing up in this world to helping someone else grow up.

For Carl – Military training is (shocker) not going to go altogether well all the time. We can’t exactly say we’re confident that he will stick it out, which is mostly funny given everything that he did to make it through this in the first place.

Shameless season 10 may not have Emmy Rossum, but rest assured, it still looks like it will be a lot of fun based on the information we’re seeing.
