‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Focusing on Matt, Rebekah

So what is going to be happening soon on “The Vampire Diaries”? The simple answer to this here is “quite a lot,” especially if you are looking at the case of one of the most’s most unlikely couples in Matt and Rebekah.

If you have watching this show for some time already, then you really know one thing about this couple already: things have not exactly been peachy for them for some time. As a matter of fact, they’re really not even that much of a couple at all, considering that the last time the two spent any real stretch of time together was when we saw Rebekah try her best to swerve Elena as well as Matt off the road … a moment that led to Nina Dobrev’s leading lady becoming a vampire.

In the new video clip, you can see really see Rebekah trying to do pretty much everything in her power to convince Matt that she really is not as horrible of a person as she seems, and that she did not really have any intentions at all of hurting her. Now is he actually going to believe that? It’s really not that complicated of a question, especially since he could have very well died thanks in part to what she did.

If this were any other show, you could probably shut down the door on there being any possibility at all of these two characters getting together. But this is not any other show! Therefore, we’re still betting that somehow, someway, Rebekah may still be able to find a way to win Matt over. We don’t necessarily think that she’s pure evil, but she has adopted a sort of “me against the world” mentality after never really having anyone support her pretty much all her life.
